Dr Kunle Bademosi

Dr Kunle Bademosi, was born April 27,1947 and he started his education early and attended Ondo boys high school Ondo town from 1959-1965. He then attended University of Ibadan College of Medicine, Nigeria 1966-1972.  Upon qualifying at the University of Ibadan he proceeded to gain a postgraduate at Royal Graduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital London, and attended St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College, London Churchill College University of Cambridge, England, Institute of Dermatology St. John’s hospital for Skin Diseases, University of London.

 

 

Dr Kunle Bademosi was a university scholar, and this gave him the opportunity to study at other stimulating academic centre’s such as the John Hopkin’s Hospital and School of Medicine Baltimore, Maryland USA, Boston University School of Medicine Boston Massachusetts, Epilepsy section of the National Institute of Neurological and Communicative Disorders and Stroke, National Institute of Health Bethesda, Maryland USA.  His academic qualifications and professional qualifications include, B.Sc. (Med.Sci.) Hons (Ibadan -1969), M.B.B.S(Ibadan)1972, Post Graduate Certificate in Immunology (Cert Immunol.) Ibadan 1976, Diploma in Dermatology (Dip. Derm) London 1979, Fellow International Society of Traditional Asian Medicine 1979, Master of Medicine (M. Med Internal Medicine) Ibadan 1980, Fellow National Institute of Health (FNIH) USA 1980, Fellow of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery 1995
He started his career teaching as a demonstrator at the Anatomy University of Ibadan from 1968- 1972 and then became a house Physician and Surgeon at the University College Hospital while lecturing at the department of Anatomy till 1976.

 

 

Dr Kunle Bademosi was a common-wealth research fellow, W.H.O International research fellow and later became a senior register at the University College Hospital Ibadan where he later became a consultant physician.

He later ventured into the world of private practice and established FULLHOUSE Medical Centre in 1981 which he coined from his name ‘Kunle’ and this became very successful hospital and known for his specialisation as a skin centre.

In September 1994 he was appointed commissioner of health and social services in Ondo State and served in that capacity till 1997.  He was Chairman of Full House Investment Limited, Chairman Crown plus and President of the Epilepsy Foundation of Nigeria until his death.
